More than 300 seniors spoke out against the violence in Juárez today at Canutillo High School.
With hammers in hand, the students planted decorated handprints attached to stakes in front of the school. Every handprint had a message urging peace.
"We want to get the message out and give those who can't speak out a voice," Stephanie Saipien, senior class president said. "I hope that this day has had an impact on the class and they realize how horrible it is."
